This is a total spoof on Macbeth by Shakespeare set with a Highland Scottish Games weekend in the states and a murder as well as the romance. Too fun! Horatio Wilkes discovers the patriarch of the games dead in his tent, covered in blood. His son is the major suspect, but Horatio is positive there is more to the story and starts putting clues together.

One of the eeriest books I have ever read. If you are a fan to Edgar Allan Poe, this will definitely appeal to you as a modern take on some of his tales! Cass McBride is out to get what she needs from school. She is confident, and sets goals, some of which might step on other people on occasion, but after being asked out by one of the uncool guys on campus, she finds out, in a horrifying way, that actions do have consequences.

Unfortunately, they are not the only victims, unbeknownst to the courts, but a strong suspicion of one law enforcement officer. Lori Cranston has escaped from the attentions of another one of her mother's boyfriends and seeks out Eric to see if he can give her the "tenderness" she so craves.
